I was reading the Book of Revelation this morning, and as I went thru the first portion with regard to the churches, I was noticing how many times the reference to "sexual immorality" kept coming up.

I wondered how many times the term was used in the NT.  As I began to look into it, I found that the term can be looked up only under the word "fornication", in the Strongs Concordance....meaning the term "sexual immorality" is not found in the KJV, but rather "fornication" is the term used.

The term is used 39 times in the NT, compared to 5 times in the OT. 
Do you think that God knew that "pornography" would be rampant in these last days???


The word used in the NT refers more to "various sexual immoralities", whereas the OT useage refers more to "prostitution".


I also notice the Greek word for fornication is "pornea", i.e. "pornography" or "porno":


In the Strongs, the variational words for "fornication" can be found in the Greek #4202-#4205, should you care to look further into this.

I bring this topic up because it is my understanding that now there are approximately 50% of pastors involved in pornography in American churches.  The statistics for men are staggering and women are gaining right behind them....and yet as a whole, there is little being said about it in the Christian community, (including this forum).  I am urging those who have not yet ventured into this territory, to understand how overwhelmingly dangerous this territory is....it could be considered a land of no return, unless one is willing to consider the cost, and be discouraged from ever entering through that door!!!  DO NOT ENTER!!!

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.



It is crucial for the one who claims to be Christian, to turn from fornication/sexual immorality, and instead to the grace and power of the Almighty God.

Acts 26:17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

GO to THE WORD and get beneath the shelter of HIS WING, to keep you from evil.  For **** is rampant these days, and the Christian MUST PROTECT HIM/HERSELF!!!!


Do not get caught in the trap, if you have not entered!!!  And if you already have, fight back with the POWER OF GOD AND THE PROTECTION OF HIS WORD THRU HIS HOLY SPIRIT!!!

So true, Suzanne.  I sense a lot of Christian "holy" men posting on Christian forums have the spirit of pornography, living double lives.

In 1993 Jesus took me up to Heaven and I saw many other people being taken up, too, ascending vertically up with great speed into the clouds and all were praising the name of Jesus.  We were all individually met by a personally assigned angel who warned each of us of our persoanl sins and of the following, "In the month of October will eventually come a "Great Outpouring", but those who are soiled with sexual sin will not be receivers of the "Anointing" it will bring.  Refrain from any form of sexual immorality and defilement, and do not engage in ****."  Heaven knows everything, nothing is hidden.   Ultimately, sexual sin is idolatry and the demons (other gods) are there in the midst of it mutually engaging with the sexual participants in an unholy ritual where their bodies have bcome "temples" onto the "other gods" (demons), thus defiling the First Commandment: "Thy shall worship the Lord thy God, and have no other gods before thee."

Hello children of God....the reason why all these sins are not to be done is this one verse alone:

ICor 3:16-17  Do you know know that  "YOU" are the temple of the living God?  And God will destroy anyone who destroys "HIS TEMPLE".

This temple we are in belongs to God and the temple of his is destroyed through sexual fornications and he will destroy any who do this...it must not be done, or eternal fire will burn those up who do not overcome it...it must be overcome at all cost...lol
