Psa 27:6     And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Psa 30:5     For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.

Psa 32:11     Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all [ye that are] upright in heart.

Psa 43:4     Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

What an excellent post Cizz!

I am reading over these more than once.  SO many of them speak to me, and God has worked with me on learning them, yet still what a mystery!

I too easily get used to just "settling and getting by" waiting for Jesus to come back.

Sister, I am sitting here after going through all those verses and wonder, What is joy!  huh    Do I know what joy feels like...?  :what: That's something when you can't really figure out what you consider joy  :blink: I don't know my own definition to that word! You know I will be stuck on it until I give it some meaning!  cz037   2x2
